Duane C. Hood

Mr. Hood is the principal of Hood Realty Capital and has financed over $186mm in commercial real estate loans. Mr. Hood graduated from San Jose State University in 1994 with a B.S. in Business Finance and shortly thereafter became involved in the real estate industry with Norwest/Wells Fargo.

From there, Mr. Hood became the top producer at a commercial mortgage brokerage in the East Bay Area before starting up and leading a commercial mortgage brokerage group for a firm in the South Bay. After building the commercial mortgage banking group there Mr. Hood left to start his own firm, Hood Realty Capital.

Prior to beginning his college career, Mr. Hood enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and proudly served our country for 10 years while attending college and during part of his tenure at Norwest/Wells Fargo. Mr. Hood received the Navy Achievement Medal during his service and was honorably discharged in 1998 as a Staff Sergeant.

His social interests include golf, tennis and volunteering at charitable organizations such as The Okizu Foundation , and the Silicon Valley Young Life Charity Golf Classic presented by the San Jose Sharks.
